Could you please point me to documentation for a triangular mesh smoothing?

I need the most simple smoothing that contracts/shrinks a mesh while projecting it on the original mesh.

Goal: I need to increase mesh edges length on the boundary before the dual method is applied:

You can use isotropic remeshing, enabling it only for border edges through the constraint / protection maps.

You can also have a look at the named parameters to disable other operations.
