Set Log Leval from DLT viewer to DLT gateway node and Passive nodes

Well for one of small project attampt is made to set the log levels dynamically via DLT viewer application(windows). But it doesn't seem to be reflecting on next set of logs in same run, infact this setLogLevel doesn't seem to be working at all. Proper ECU id and log level were selected. Can anyone guide what is the ideal way to achieve this? Does it need some specific implementation at application level or configure config file in certain way? I am even open to suggestion to debug this. Please let me know.

Have you used the latest master version?
The release version has some trouble with endianess and cannot correctly receive dlt viewer control message frame
