Location of temporary files

I'm trying to run a series of simulations and saving them at the end of each one in D drive. However, it somehow got the C drive full and stopped running. I guess there are Temporary files saved in the C drive. Where can I find them, please?

MPh does not create any temporary files. But Comsol does. In abundance. Please refer to the Comsol documentation on where they are stored.
