in every version before this one, the linear keyframe was a diamond (45° rotated square) while the constant keyframe was a square. this made perfect sense visually because a linear change is graphed with a diagonal line while a constant would be represented as a flat horizontal line. and btw a bezier which is a curve is represented using a circle, which is curved. just perfect. it had always been perfect.
