Allow a proxy for clusters

I want to use the proxy as a way for clients to connect to a single host instead of a list of hosts, is this supported? If not, such a feature would be much appreciated 🙏

Not sure how you mean.

You want AMQProxy to act like a haproxy? Wouldn't haproxy/nginx solve it? Or what about using a multi dns record?

I am also interested in this topic. I have to connect to a cluster, would it make sense for AMQProxy to connect to HAProxy ?

As in

Client -> AMQPProxy -> HAProxy -> RabbitMQ Cluster

As I understand it, responsibilities of AMQProxy and HAProxy are different my guess would be yes, but not sure.
