QUICO is still under active development and not production-ready yet.
Many parts of the stack are experimental or incomplete.
The long-term goal is to provide a QUIC / HTTP3 / WebTransport implementation in JavaScript, with an API compatible with node:http and Node’s stream interface, so existing apps can migrate seamlessly to QUICO.

Here’s the current state:

Streams:
QUICO already implements low-level QUIC transport streams (both bidirectional and unidirectional), including stream IDs, flow control, and partial frame reassembly.
However, there is no native Node.js stream integration yet - meaning no support for Duplex, Readable, or pipe() at this point.
High-level stream wrapping will come later, once the transport layer stabilizes.

For now, sending large files is technically possible by manually reading from fs and writing chunks via the res.write().

IPv4 / IPv6 (Dual mode):
Currently, QUICO opens two separate UDP sockets - one for IPv4 and one for IPv6. This may change in the future.

Max RPS:
Benchmarks are not yet published - congestion/flow control are still being tuned.
