Could you link to any sources you found to send control commands to the gimbal?
I was able to adapt your code to create commands in node to control tilt and pan etc. for a Smooth 4, but it does not return sensor info and the commands that work from your work is not the same as the Bluetooth commands seen from the app.
If you have found any documentation on these commands and things like how to compute the checksum it would be most helpful.
