PCB reliability + production #114

Description

@engmung

Goal

Reliable enough to ship. Failures trace to hand-soldering cold joints, not the design
→ move to PCBA, simplify the board, validate.

Reliability

  • Simplified rev: remove debounce RC, keep decoupling caps
  • PCBA quote + small test batch; validate with 10h burn-in inside the enclosure
  • Swap encoders to PEC11R-4220F-S0024 + test (5 incoming); lock before the PCBA order

Power & controls

  • Decide power input: dedicated power module vs the current 2-pin screw terminal
    (Crowd Supply suggested a complete module — likely cheaper than an extra assembly step)
  • Add a power switch (toggle, retro feel) — decide mounting face + orientation

Docs

  • Update BOM, schematic, build guide for the new rev
