Patreon and Subscribestar API Integration

Problem

Our community is used as a private chat for our patrons, and a patreon bot that works with discord automatically adds, removes, and assigns roles to people based on their patreon subscription and tier. A similar bot also does this for subscribestar.

No such bot exists (yet) for fluxer.

Proposed solution

Work with patreon and subscribestar to make an official bot that is addable to a community/guild and functions identically as possible to the discord bot.

Notes (optional)

I do not think this is doable by an individual at this time as the patreon API and subcribestar API don't seem to be open to just anyone.

Patreon has an API that's capable of providing the necessary info, and it has OAuth support which should allow a third-party hosted bot to utilize it. I'm unsure what the situation is with Subscribestar, however.

I'll try and look around harder or maybe use an AI to figure out how to get the patreon thing working. That is obviously going to be the main one. However, patreon doesn't allow you to link your fluxer account to your patreon, which I believe may be required for this to work. I also don't think fluxer allows you to link your patreon.

This could probably be worked around if the third-party bot acted as an OAuth bridge/middleman. I recall some Discord bots (Bloxlink might be one?) handling it this way, and it would still produce the expected result (though you would need to obviously trust the owners of said bot to handle it responsibly).

I feel like at that point you may just be able to make your own bot for your own community to do it, if you don't. Because things like patreon are involved, which involve also the payment method and possibly the address of the user, it might still be nice to have a trusted official bot for this, one day.
