max heatpoints/markers for map?

is there a limit of max heatpoints shown on the map?
if so, do we keep the old ones and the newly requested are ignored? :D

There is no limit. All new Heatpoints and Locations get added to the map.
We do however only request 1000 heatpoints and 100 Locations at a time.
