Hi, happy to see someone attempting to build this thing. I can't send you any pictures anymore since the whole thing is glued together for good, but I basically measured the width of the slider from some pictures of the original to be around 550 mm. Then I corrected it down to 548mm to align with the LED strip. This length I divided into rectangular 32 strips with a 2mm gap in between as you correctly guessed. I used a small 3D printed jig to align the strips properly. In hindsight it would have been better to simply have those copper pads on a PCB instead, so if you have any experience with creating PCBs this is probably the nicest option. Feel free to ask if you need any further details. |

I'm planning on making my own Diva controller. I have experience working with RP2040 and normal arcade controllers but the touch slider seems pretty hard. If you have any and don't mind sharing, could you send a picture of the the way you set up the electrodes for the touch slider?
Do you just have to measure out the length of the area for the slider and divide by 32 to get the length for the copper tape? Or is there a way to get it accurately regardless
