Investigate possible incompatibilities with some terminal apps

I've received some user reports of terminal apps failing to have the terminal pinentry app interact correctly when opened by rage:

• Cannot enter password in the pin entry prompt rage#569
• Passphrase input not working on Android (Termux) rage#585

Figure out whether there is anything we can do inside the pinentry crate to improve compatibility.
