Hi there! 👋 I'm Luis Caballero

Full-Stack Architect | Angular • Java • Node • PHP • GNU/Linux | Driving Business Agility through Systems Thinking

I am an engineering profile with a solid and fast-tracked career in the IT sector. My relationship with technology started out of pure passion: from my early days upgrading my first PC, optimizing local networks to reduce ping in competitive multiplayer games, to customizing scripts and level designs in modern game engines during my teenage years.

This deep visual and systemic foundation naturally evolved into a formal technical education. I completed my Software Development degree (DAW) and immediately jumped into full-time software engineering, focusing from day one on enterprise architectures.

I have delivered high-impact solutions across demanding sectors, including banking, healthcare, public administration, and large-scale retail. I do not stay on the surface of the code; I understand software from the base infrastructure up to the final user interface, balancing large-scale corporate platforms with deep-dive technical research periods building and maintaining my own server environments.

⌨ What I Bring to Technical Teams

  • Vision & Architecture: Specialized in designing clean, scalable, modular architectures, establishing strict type safety, and optimizing deep platform performance.
  • Product Mindset: Extensive experience handling end-to-end developments, connecting complex business logic and backend APIs with robust frontend user experiences.
  • Technical Ownership: Act as a technical mentor and lead within cross-functional teams, unblocking architectural issues, guiding developers, and promoting clean-code and SOLID practices.
  • Continuous Evolution: Actively building open-source ecosystems, diving into contract-first development (SDD), and testing high-concurrency setups to keep engineering standards sharp.

⚙ Core Engineering Ecosystem

  • Frontend Core: Angular, TypeScript, State Management (NgRx/Signals), Modular Architecture.
  • Backend Integration: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, PHP, Microservices, REST APIs.
  • Sovereignty & Infrastructure: GNU/Linux environments, Homelab deployment, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure foundations.

⚿ Open Source & Collaboration

  • Sovereign AI Ecosystem: I am engineering neurodoc-ai — An enterprise-grade, 100% on-premise Homelab architecture designed to intercept code quality governance directly inside pre-flight CI/CD pipelines (Java/Spring Boot 3, TypeScript, Python/FastAPI, ChromaDB, and Ollama).
  • Engineering Log: I maintain ideas-overflow — Welcome to my raw core dump. This is an open space where I offload random ideas, realizations, and reflections so they can go out and fly around.
  • Collaboration: I am highly receptive to collaborating on meaningful Open Source projects. Feel free to reach out if you need an architectural review, performance tuning, or core TypeScript/Angular implementation.
