Gallardo Lab

Molecular oncology and targeted nanomedicine — UANL · Monterrey, Mexico. MYC/MAX programs, HER2+ delivery platforms, post-GWAS pipelines.

Gallardo Lab

Molecular oncology and targeted nanomedicine at the School of Medicine, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), based at the Oncology Service of Hospital Universitario "Dr. José Eleuterio González" — Monterrey, México.

Research lines

  • MYC/MAX biology — competitive blockade strategies and downstream pathway profiling for oncogenic transcriptional programs.
  • HER2+ targeted nanomedicine — receptor-guided delivery platforms (aptamer-coated AuNPs and polymeric NPs) carrying mRNAs, miRNAs, antimiRs, and peptide constructs.
  • IVT-mRNA platform — in vitro transcription (T7, CleanCap, poly(A)) for synthetic mRNA cargo.
  • Post-GWAS functional annotation — reproducible pipelines for type 2 diabetes and metabolic loci (e.g., RPTOR/rs12950541).
  • Breast cancer genetics in Northeastern Mexico — gene–environment interactions, ACMG/CAP variant interpretation.
