Situation

The workflow .github/workflows/ci.yml tests in CI using Node.js versions 20, 22 & 24.

The following Node.js transitions occurred in October 2025 (see https://github.com/nodejs/release#release-schedule):

Node.js release From To Date
22 Active LTS Maintenance LTS 2025-10-21
24 Current Active LTS 2025-10-28
25 - Current 2025-10-15

Change

  • Add Node.js 25 to the workflow .github/workflows/ci.yml

  • Remove status comments from other Node.js versions to reduce maintenance work for future Node.js status transitions
